Pycnoplast was founded in 2016 to develop and supply tailor made compounds and One Pack Solutions (granules of polymer additive blends).
Pycnoplast is a combination of the word “Pyknótitas”, which is Greek for density, and the word Plastics. This refers to our first revolutionary technology development to make highly filled granules of compressed additives for plastic processing. This technology is currently licensed to Qolortech. In 2019 we decided to focus on biopolymers and became official distributor of Tunhe’s biodegradable polymer resins, which forms an excellent basis for further technological developments.
