To develop new polymer solutions and provide prototype masterbatches and compounds, Pycnoplast has a close cooperation with one of our owners, The Materials Factory. In the Materials Factory we have access to almost all regular plastic processing equipment and a variety of product testing equipment.
With the help of The Materials Factory we are able to produce small samples (application simulation) in the lab, which can be scaled up without any problem for production or customer-testing purposes, such as:
- Extruders for tape, tube, filament and profile extrusion
- Injection molding machine
- Cast and blow film line
- Lab compounding extruder

Tunhe is a Chinese high-tech company focused on development and production of biosourced, biodegradable and compostable polymers. Tunhe is one of the largest producers of biopolymers in the world with an annual capacity in PBAT and PBS resins of 130.000 MT.
